An Unusual Path to this Work

Before becoming a psychoanalytic psychotherapist, Jeffrey spent decades in the art world — as Assistant Curator of Medieval Art at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Cloisters, Director of the Neuberger Museum at SUNY Purchase, and Vice President and Partner at Pace Gallery. He later trained as a licensed psychoanalyst, bringing that same depth of attention to the clinical work he does today.

He continues to work as a private art dealer and advisor to artists' estates and collectors, alongside his clinical practice.
